Also ask them if they know UniSFA exists. - done Alaura: > Take the receipts home for Sem 2 grants - done > Submit work order for skirting board - not done > Get a new powerboard - done Donald: > Update committee details - not done > Make poster and facebook banner - poster is made > Draft paints + battlemat regulations - done > Publish these regulations - done Nadia: > Get floor plans for Manjedal - done > Schedule a post for recommendations - done Gatekeeper: - Nothing to report Agenda: Usual Suspects: Board Games: - As previously stated, people were ehh - Only one person showed up - Exams happening, probably shouldn't do one next week - We will try and facilitate games over the holidays that are joint and collaborative RPGs: - Short campaigns over the holidays might be good, could also be good for people to get into campaigns - We'll look into it - GMs would ideally have control - Dread One-Shot happening on Wednesday at 4PM - Classic games Tumblin' Tower Simulator 2018 - Stars Without Number is probably the next one MtG: - Sealed league sign-ups are still good - 14 people have sign up, it's great Wargames: - Alaura is adding shaker balls to all the paints to help them - Mordheim is still going well - Another? - A suggestion was made to borrow out numbers of paint, rather than noting each individual paint - Taking a box or a shelf if you have a gatekeeper with you could be a thing as well - We'd need to have Jake at a meeting to discuss Events: Halloween Party: - Starting off, it was a success - Security recorded 39 people - Probably more than that, verifying that soon - One major hiccup that was resolved - Tav didn't have our order of Alcohol - Should've checked on Friday - Luckily the Tav was open so we could check with them, but there was nothing there for us - We bought Alcohol from BWS anyway - Confirmed it was the Tav messed up, but part of the blame was on us for not double checking - Everything else was pretty smooth - Halloween wrap-up is yet to happen - The rest of the subcommittee shouldn't have been drinking - Unigames is purchasing all of the leftover soft drinks at cost - There was an incident - One individual was intoxicated to the point of throwing up - Emailed Leigh, incident report is required - This individual was freshly 18, and hadn't had much drinking experience - They had every cocktail, didn't feel tipsy, and proceeded to have more ciders afterwards - First Aid provided: Moral support, water, electrolytes, food, and safe transport was organised - Also made sure that this individual was OK the next day - Talking to Declan (approved manager and RSA), last drink served to the individual was tipsy and not yet drunk - Had they come again, wouldn't have been served - For possible solutions: - The amount of alcohol in each drink should be made more available - Jasmine suggests drink cards? A better way to note how much people have had in what timeframe - Nadia: "These were experienced bartenders, there isn't much more they can do" - Gavin: "Their level of intoxication is probably a bit high because of their regular events" - Having experienced bartenders on the entire night was real good - Thank you very much to Declan and Jo for bartending, you were real good and entertaining - The cocktails sold great, we had a lot of beverages left over because of them - Three was a good number of cocktails - A mocktail should be there next year, just don't bother making it convertible into a cocktail - Feedback from Jo: - RSAs weren't briefed that well, to the point where they didn't realise they should go to the CCZ - More fun names for the Cocktails, would improve engaged - Make the drinks that were more alcoholic more expensive - Alaura is physically exhausted - took on a lot of the responsibility which was a problem - A lot of stuff was assigned to people, but wasn't done according to Alaura - Subcommittee members didn't read communications (minutes or chat) - We have lots of leftover decorations - How do we store them? - There's a lot of stuff in Panto, who doesn't want to store them (fair) - Top of the Machine Room? Alaura is willing to help put them there - Prioritise the important stuff: some stuff we can chuck - Give away real cheap things, but reluctant to give away anything else >Aoibhinn: Get the stuff from Panto Uncharity Vigil: - UCC Reps: Alden and James - UniSFA: Kurt and Finn - UWAnime: picking at next meeting - Unigames: Donald and Alistair - Panto: waiting until SGM - No further updates apart from that Summer LARP: - Test happening on Wednesday - Meeting happening directly after this - TICKETS are out - Nadia has unintentionally become the contact point between wider LARP community and us - A new LARP group is gonna be made soon Ghengis Con: - We've put a poster up - They don't want us to volunteer - But if we run an event we get in for free - Gavin wants more info - Aoibhinn and Nadia have been, and are providing info - Like SwanCon, but less stalls - What event would we be running? - LARP, Painting, or a Mega Game? - Magic events? - Gavin has contact details - It's being run at St. Georges, which is close by as well >Gavin: Get more details for Ghengis Con: Slots, available/typical, Magic, LARP mini game, Painting, Mega-Game CAMP: - Nanga Bush is actually $100 a head for three nights - Other concerns: - There was a scandal there, involving UWA - They don't have doors on the dorms, there are curtains - It's also far away from Emergency contacts and cell coverage - Manjedal: - This one basket looks real good - Looks real cheap - Nothing super loud after hours, but we can work around that - They do have an outdoors area - The person nearest to us is the caretaker, which is good - 5PM check in time >Gavin: Clarify if we can do earlier - 10AM check out >Gavin: Organise road trip - Dytopian Futures: - Discussed later Room update: - Cockroaches - AND BEES - Bees were in the main entrance - Bees were dead at 11:30PM - Cockroaches were out during the day - Fumigation didn't work evidently >Alaura: Skirting board work order - Power board was purchased, has not been tagged Book Buy: - Still happening early December Removals from library: - Nadia is talking to OG President about what to do with OG Games - We'll deal with AD&D not now - Classic Games Tumblin' Towers is missing two blocks Reimbursment: - Aoibhinn: $941.86 - Food Run - Alaura: ~$81 - Halloween Decorations - Donald: $120 - Magic Boxes - Nadia: $9.29 - Cockroach Bait - Nadia: $2.58 - Wood things for LARP General Business: - There are boxes - We can remove them - Mental Health First-Aid: Please go - Sleeving Dominion: - Alaura will unsleeve the base cards so they are usable - Lost Property: - Boost Card - Black notebook full of Campaign Notes Meeting closed: 1:36PM -- Action Items: Gavin: > Get more details for Ghengis Con: Slots, available/typical, Magic, LARP mini game, Painting, Mega-Game > Clarify if we can do earlier > Organise road trip Aoibhinn: > Get the stuff from Panto Alaura: > Bring back Treasurer folder > Skirting board work order
